the wider location of the city core is part of the medieval center of the city, which in the present state is an unarticulated space embedded between a purely functional traffic arrangement and morphologically different building structure from different time periods. Large level differences and scattered building structures hinder the creation of articulated and transparent urban spaces. The starting point of the competition was the overall arrangement of the public areas of the city center.The design of new urban areas deals with each ambience of the urban space in terms of its urbanistic architectural characteristics and establishes various programmatic content that adds new identitiy to the sites. The overall design is subordinate to the historical city center from the point of view of the arrangement of space, urban equipment and paving in materials and design. The intervention only establishes a new urban layer that acts as a connecting element between the old and the new.
